The
resort is in good shape after Ida finally left the Outer Banks. The dune protecting Ocean Villas held up except
for the area that is replaced every year.
There is a minimum amount of sand on the property mostly because the
sand was already wet before the high winds came.

2010 Annual Maintenance Fee with be $495 - Credit
Cards , $475 - Check or Money Order.
The 2010 budget was approved to include repair of
the Pool which needs MAJOR repairs. Proposal was given by Brant Honeycutt on
state of current pool and type of repair recommended. The proposal will be available for review
Elections - Sandy Hardy and Bill Glenz were elected
to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors elected

Nominations for the Ocean Villas Board of Directors are still being accepted. There are 2 seats open (Hardy and Glenz) on the Board of Directors of the Ocean Villas Homeowners Association and are up for election at the annual HOA meeting in November. These are three year terms expiring in 2012. Sandy Hardy is currently our association president. Bill Glenz is currently the association secretary. Anyone interested in running for either of these two board vacancies should submit a statement of qualifications(100 words) and goals (100 words) for the newsletter to Teresa Gurganus 216 Wiley Oaks Drive, Wendell, NC 27591
