The Ocean Villas Homeowners Association
Ocean Villas Homeowners Association is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors, elected to staggered 3-year terms by the homeowners in attendance either in person or by proxy at the annual homeowners meeting held the second Saturday of November each year. The homeowners also vote at that time on adoption of the annual budget and annual maintenance fee. Budget proposals are submitted to the membership by the Board with the notice of the meeting.
Officers are elected by the Board of Directors for one year terms at a director’s meeting immediately after the annual homeowners meeting. The president is responsible for hiring the manager (who is responsible for the day to day management of the resort) and a maintenance person
Homeowners are also able to participate in the affairs of the association by volunteering to serve on one of the association’s standing committees. Homeowners have one vote in the association for each unit/week of timeshare owned and with all association fees current.
