August 28, 2009 - The Board of Directors would like to express their condolences to the Family of Board Member Charles Kinsey who passed away on August 26, 2009. Charles had been very active with the Board of Directors and the Newsletter for many years. Charles recently worked on replacing the Ocean Villas sign with a new design and lettering. Charles hard work and dedication to Ocean Villas will be missed by all.

KINSEY, Charles "Chuck" Henry Kinsey Jr., age 68, of Chester, Va.,
passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. He was born in Norfolk, Va.,
son of the late Charles H. Kinsey Sr. and Mildred Tillett Kinsey. Mr.
Kinsey was a 1963 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
He retired as a colonel with 30 years of active duty in the U.S. Army.
In addition to serving his country, Mr. Kinsey served his community as
a Rotarian since 1991. He was a current member and past president of
the Chester Rotary Club, as well as an active volunteer in the Richmond
Friends of the Homeless and the Shepherd Center of Chesterfield. He is
survived by his loving wife, Sarah K. Kinsey; two stepsons, six
grandchildren; and sister, Susan Piercy and husband, Fred, of
Blacksburg, Va. A celebration of Chuck's life will take place at
Chester Baptist Church on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. In lieu
of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charles H. Kinsey
Jr. Scholarship Fund, payable to the Chester Rotary Club at P.O. Box
3022, Chester, Virginia 23831. The family is being served by the
Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home &
Cremation Service. Condolences to the family may be registered at
